This Friday and Saturday come into Amour and receive 20% off your purchase. Pick up the pretty item you've had your eye on, find something to wear under your holiday party dress, or grab something for someone on your Christmas list. (Hint: robes and pajamas are always winners). We look forward to helping you!

I love how the small ritual of changing into our pajamas each day reminds us to take care of ourselves and treat ourselves well. Pajamas let us nestle in and enjoy the winter season. So in celebration of the pajama we are having our first annual Amour Pajama Party on Saturday, November 16th from 10:30-5:30. Our holiday collection will be in the store, and we will have a host of pretty pajamas, chemises and robes to choose from. You'll find warm and cozy options as well as delicate, feminine choices. Shop for yourself or someone else. Enjoy refreshments all day long. The East Village Spa will offer chair massages from 2:15-4:15.

The East Village Promenade is Friday, November, 22. We are excited to be part of the Promenade this year. Starting on that Friday we'll begin our holiday hours which include later hours on Friday and Sunday hours, too.

We love Fortnight lingerie for so many reasons. The colors are gorgeous, the fit is incredibly flattering, and the design is unique. Even their seams are worthy of admiration, which may be why their tagline is "every stitch has a purpose."

We don't often think about what a complex garment the bra is. This short film by director Derrick Belcham beautifully captures the intricate craft of Fortnight lingerie.

I'm excited that Bethany Arganbright from Juice came buy to take a look at the store. She wrote up and wonderful article on the store. And photographer Zach Boyden-Holmes put together a nice video tour.

It was lovely to see everyone at our Sneak Peek. We didn't want the day to end.

I've been thinking about Amour for the last two years, and it's astonishing to see it come together. I feel so lucky to have met so, so, so many wonderful and encouraging people who have helped me get this place off the ground, and I am sure to meet so many more when I open my doors. I can't wait to hear your impressions, what you like, and even what you don't.

I truly believe we benefit from being around beautiful things (they inspire us, make us smile, change our mood) and having beautiful things closest to our bodies is a gift we give ourselves. I am so excited to share this place with you and hope you'll spoil yourself with a little bit of beauty and a little bit of Amour.
